Gina Rodriguez is pregnant and expecting baby No. 2 with her husband, Joe Locicero.
The Jane the Virgin star, 40, shared the exciting news when she debuted and cradled her visible baby bump on the red carpet at Netflix’s Katie Taylor vs Amanda Serrano Historic All-Women Fight Card on Friday, July 11. Gina, who was accompanied by her Joe, 38, at the Madison Square Garden event, wore a floral flowy dress that did not fully highlight her baby bump.

Gina announced her pregnancy the following day via Instagram and revealed the gender of baby No. 2.
“Baby girl coming thru!!! We are so excited for you lil mama,” the Someone Great actress captioned the post.
Gina glowed in the photo, as she donned chic grey cotton pants and a front-tie, lemon-designed top that exposed her bare belly.
The happy couple are parents to their son, Charlie Ray, whom they welcomed in early 2023. Gina announced her pregnancy on October 29, 2022, but she and Joe have kept his birthdate private.
In September 2024, Gina revealed that she and Joe had yet to rely on childcare at the time.
"Since my baby's been born, we don't do nannies, we don't do childcare — it is us," the Not Dead Yet star told People at the time. "I put my child to sleep every single night for the entirety of his existence, which means at 7:00 p.m. on, I am not a human being. I am my child's pillow.”
In June, Gina put Joe in the spotlight while celebrating Father’s Day via Instagram and shared heartwarming photos of her boys’ most precious moments.
“Charlie knows love because of you. He knows strength and softness. He knows how to protect himself and others just as you do. He knows how to explore and expand everyday because he gets to watch you do it,” she wrote. “ You are a tremendous father but it’s because you live it. You are constantly growing and changing and learning. I really picked a one of a kind partner, best friend, lover and father of my children.”
